Takamoto MIZUNO
Diatonic-Tremolo-Harmonica player
Takamoto Mizuno emerged as a harmonica talent when he won 1st prize in the tremolo category of the Japan Harmonica Contest at the age of 14.
He became renowned internationally when he won another two championships in the tremolo category of the 1st Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival (Taiwan) in 1996 and at the World Harmonica Festival (Germany) 1997.
He performed at the Gala Concert of the 5th Asia Pacific Harmonica Festival (Hong Kong) in 2004.
Mizuno's harmonica music has evolved to a revolutionary sound incorporating elements of folk and classical music.
He currently requests new works from domestic and foreign composers of the day for tremolo harmonica and performs them live.
He has sat on the jury at all major harmonica contests in Japan and holds a scholarship from the ”Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst” (DAAD).

現在、作曲家と共に、複音ハーモニカのオリジナル曲を残すことを目的に活動中
